The Engineering Division develops and oversees the implementation of the City’s Capital Improvement Program, reviews and regulates subdivisions and other private development projects, maintains the City’s maps and engineering files and provides support for the City’s transportation and utility systems.
To assist consulting engineers, private developers and contractors, the Engineering Division maintains and enforces the City’s Construction Standards (Manual of Standards, Details & Specifications), maintains and updates the City’s Water Supply Planning Documents and maintains and updates the City’s Development Impact Fees.
