As an Elections Official, the City Clerk administers federal, state and local procedures through which local government representatives are elected. The City Clerk assists candidates in meeting their campaign responsibilities before, during and after an election.
City Councilmember Elections
City Councilmembers are elected for 4-year terms. Councilmembers are elected by district. Districts 2 and 5 are up for election in 2026. Districts 1, 3, and 4 are up for election in 2028. Register Vote
Register to vote to ensure your voice is heard! Voter Registration Forms are available at the Rohnert Park City Clerk's Office, Sonoma County Registrar of Voters, local libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles Offices, and U.S. Post Offices. You may also register to vote online by visiting the Secretary of State's website at https://registertovote.ca.gov/ and following the instructions listed on the California Online Voter Registration webpage.
