Citywide Traffic Analysis - Final Report 2009

Generally, Average Daily Traffic "ADT" (24 hour volume) is obtained by taking the numbers of the two different directions at a location, adding them together, then adding a 0 to the new number. For example on Rohnert Park Expressway between Commerce Blvd and State Farm Dr. the Eastbound PM Peak Hour Traffic Volume is 1280 vehicles and the Westbound PM Peak Hour Traffic Volume is 935 by adding them together, 2215 vehicles is obtained for the PM Peak Hour , then add a 0 to this number to obtain the ADT of 22150 vehicles per day.
