The New Heart of the City 

Rohnert Park is evolving with our future Downtown. We will create a vibrant, mixed-use district full of economic opportunities. This walkable, inclusive new heart of Rohnert Park will provide a range of housing options across all incomes levels and cultivate a unique public realm celebrating Rohnert Park’s and Sonoma County’s artisan, beverage, and outdoor communities.  

Downtown will include 300-500 residential units; food, beverage, and art destinations; a signature upscale 120-room hotel; 65,000 to 160,000 square feet of retail; and a rich and interesting public realm consisting of walkable streets and a central community square.

The idea of a "Downtown Rohnert Park" has been a vision of the community since 2014. The community's vision for a downtown is a walkable, mixed-use district with 300-500 residential units; food, beverage, and art destinations; a signature upscale hospitality venue; and a rich and interesting public realm consisting of walkable streets and a central community square.
