The homelessness issue continues to be one of our most challenging issues. Some of the steps we're taking to address homelessness, include:
• Providing permanent and interim housing through local service providers
• Cleaning up trash and debris in encampments
• Building Labath Landing -- 60 units of temporary housing
• Increasing safety by police presence and enforcement
• Modifying the City’s camping ordinance to allow for some enforcement consistent with court-imposed rulings.
