In order to be eligible to vote in California, an individual must be a United States citizen, a resident of California, and 18 years of age or older on Election Day. In order to vote in Rohnert Park, an individual must reside in Rohnert Park and register with the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters.

There is various information regarding elections online with the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters including registered voters lookup, vote by mail ballot status lookup, polling place and sample ballot lookup, and current election results. Live election results will be posted on Election Day after 8:00 p.m.

Voter Registration Forms are available at the Rohnert Park City Clerk's Office, Sonoma County Registrar of Voters, local libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles Offices, and U.S. Post Offices. You may also register to vote online by visiting the Secretary of State's website at https://registertovote.ca.gov/ and following the instructions listed on the California Online Voter Registration webpage.

Registration Deadline
To vote, you must register at least 15 days prior to an election. If you are registering or re-registering less than 15 days before an election you will need to complete the Same-Day Voter Registration process and request your ballot in person at your county elections office or polling location. The Vote Centers below will be open from Saturday, November 5 to Monday, November 7, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, the centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Official Ballot Drop Boxes open Tuesday, October 11, 2022 and will remain open 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
