RIBBON CUTTING for new playground scheduled on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Lydia Park (located off of Lydia Court S)
Project Overview:
The City of Rohnert Park has contracted WestPac Construction to provide improvements to Lydia Park. the project includes new playground equipment, accessibility upgrades, replaced pathway from Lydia Court South and drainage. The project will improve the accessibility to the park and playground as well as provide more playground features.

- Construction (sidewalk) began September 2023
- Construction (playground) demo began February 2024 and installation completed March 2024
- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am – 6pm, excluding City holidays.
- Impacts include playground being closed until construction is completed later this spring, intermittent temporary no parking, construction related noise, and dust.
