On July 23, 2024, City Council accepted the 2024 Sewer Rate Study prepared by Hildebrand Consulting. The Study proposed a 5 year schedule of sewer rate increases for all sewer utility customers in Rohnert Park. City Council will hold a public hearing on September 24, 2024. Depending on the number of protests received in writing prior to and at the public hearing, the resolution to adopt the new sewer rates could occur at the same meeting. If adopted, the new rates will go into effect for utility bills rendered after October 1, 2024.
