Working Together to Protect Public Health
The City of Rohnert Park has declared a local emergency to allow for a proactive response toward COVID-19. Effective at 12:01am on March 18th, the County Health Officer issued a Shelter-In-Place order for all residents of Sonoma County. This order is in effect until April 7th, 2020. Only essential business and travel will be allowed while the Shelter-In-Place order is in effect.
The City of Rohnert Park has closed all but essential services. Please use the selections to the right to learn more about which City services are available during the Shelter-In-Place.
Both the County of Sonoma and the City of Rohnert Park have partially activated their Emergency Operations Centers to support necessary activities. The City of Rohnert Park remains in close communication with the Sonoma County Department of Health Services. The Sonoma County Department of Health Services is also working closely with local public health partners and health care provies to take action to isolate and test anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms in consultation with the Centers for Disease Control.
