[En Español abajo] We encourage you to get free, confidential testing for the virus by calling 565-4667 to make an appointment. While an appointment isn’t required, getting one will help ensure there is room for you and make the process go faster.  You can also stop by the Burton Avenue Recreation Center on Mondays from 2 - 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 - 11 a.m. For a complete testing calendar, go to  https://socoemergency.org/events/category/pop-up-testing/

Everyone can receive a test, even if you don’t have symptoms or have not been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Depending on where you live, you may be eligible for a gift card if you get tested; ask about this when you call for an appointment. 

• If you test positive and are not able to isolate yourself from others, the County can provide a safe place for you to stay at no cost. They will contact you to discuss this option if you have a positive test.
• Also depending on where you live, you may be able to receive over $1,000 if you test positive and can’t afford to take time off from work. Call the appointment number at 565-4667 for more information. 
• Please practice the basics to prevent the spread: wear a mask, keep your distance from others, and avoid large gatherings.
