Drainage / Stormwater

The storm water system for Rohnert Park consists of the City’s street gutters, storm drain inlets, catch basins, pipes, and outfalls, as well as ditches and constructed channels mostly maintained by the Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA). The entire system diverts rain and other runoff away from developed property. The storm water system is entirely separate from the sewer system; storm water and other runoff that enters the storm water system are not treated before it flows to the local creeks and rivers.

To report a stormwater issue, such as

  • localized flooding
  • clogged storm drain inlets,
  • spills or dumping

that could enter the storm drain, please call Public Works at (707) 588-3300 or email during regular business hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After business hours, please call our 24-hour line at (707) 584-2600.
